My name is Lubna and I am a Holistic Food Coach, Natural Chef, Massage Specialist & Yoga teacher. I am passionate about your health and well-being. After spending years working in property management in London I was left feeling stressed and unfulfilled.
I discovered the many benefits of massage therapy when I fractured my ankle. I was so profoundly affected by the difference in my physical health and emotional well-being that I felt compelled to leave my job. This allowed me to study Holistic Massage.
Now, health and well-being is my life! I practice yoga every morning. I attend and support my community fitness centre and I have recently learned how to swim. I have more energy, strength, flexibility and body awareness in my fifties than I had in my twenties.
Since taking the leap into the holistic lifestyle and therapy I have studied and qualified in a variety of disciplines which I am now able to offer you. I specialise in Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Pregnancy Massage, Myofascial Release, and Thai Yoga Massage.
Most recently I focused my studies on Sports Massage and I am excited to be learning about remedial massage for pain relief, trigger point therapy and sports stretching techniques.
I take a holistic approach with each client. Working together, we look at every aspect of their life, including diet, work, and home stresses, physical activities, musculoskeletal imbalances and anything else that is relevant in order to provide the most effective treatment and advice.
Combined with my enthusiasm and passion for holistic massage I felt it was vital to learn from the very best teachers. I include here my gratitude for the training and inspiration I received from Kira Balaskas from the School of Thai Yoga Massage, Ralf Marzen from the Mudita School of Thai Yoga Massage and all at Jing Institute of Advanced Massage Training.
These amazing practitioners have helped me learn from techniques that have been tried and tested for thousands of years. Kira and Ralph have trained with the great masters of this ancient healing art, the likes of Asokananda. It is important to learn from the purest source, approach with deep respect and keep this ancient knowledge alive.
I very much look forward to the possibility of meeting you – I am conveniently based in the heart of the City of London, a short walk from Liverpool Street Station and Moorgate. I offer a warm, welcoming and comfortable alternative to a clinic.
Having trained from professional gurus, I am sure you will consider this when choosing a practitioner. Contact me to book your appointment and look after your well-being.
